Once upon a time cars were simple: If the transmission didn’t shift right, you probably had a transmission problem. You took your car to the transmission shop and they fixed it. Simple, right? As with most stories that begin this way, times have changed. Today, when...
Very clean garage floor, they clean up and looks like they tend to work as clean as possible. We looked inside for a second to see how they work before we handed our car to be worked on, when we picked up our car, it didn't have any greasy fingerprints or smudges, I recommend them to handle any of your vehicles with great care. Their manager was very friendly and knowledge when called us back with damage report of transmission and couple other parts that needed to be replaced due to normal wear and tear, they call it preventive maintenance. Our kids will bring them their cars too when they grow up. Price was good for a transmission, costed less then dealers transition without labor time.
Had my vehicle transmission checked at this location they were very knowledgeable and informed me my problem was from a ground issue and they were able to tighten it and have had no more problems yet will definitely recommend them!
My mother had her oil changed at a different location and noticed the car wasn't shifting into second gear. The oil change place said that they didn't do anything they were aware of to cause it to stop working. So she went to Brownies and they checked it out. They did a diagnostic check and found that a wire had been knocked loose so Brownies attached it and reset the check light. They didn't even charge her.
Took my mustang in for transmission fluid change. Didn’t change the fluid because I had a leak. I appreciated the honesty because other shops tried to charge for things I knew wasn’t wrong. And they also charged me nothing to fill back up the fluid.
